Spellcasters is a VR gesture based game where the player is a mage and he can cast spells to either attack the opponent or defend themselves.
This project is currently under the development stage under the guidance of Michael John, Professor at UC Santa Cruz. We are a team of five, I mainly worked on integrating the gesture system and the VR Gameplay for the proof of concept.
Tools used: Unity Editor, C#, Airsig Gesture Recognition Tool, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift
Future goals: We are aiming to make Spellcasters a multiplayer VR game for stroke patients as we believe that playing a VR game with gestures can help in a fun and easy recovery of the patient. I am currently working on implementing multiplayer into the project.
